We are Abbey and Lindsey from Inside The Hem. We publish YouTube videos all about sewing!

We met at a local fabric shop in Charleston, South Carolina. Lindsey had just moved here (like a month prior) and Abbey moved during college from West Virginia. Neither of them had sewn before but Lindsey was wanting to meet new people and Abbey, a newlywed at that time, was wanting to learn something new. A friendship quickly formed and we were soon sewing together all the time.

The idea for our sewing channel was born in early 2016. We had both watched many videos for our other shared passion – beauty – and thought it would be fun to create our own channel. It was both scary and exciting at the same time.

On our channel, you’ll find videos featuring our recent makes, tips & tricks we have learned and continue to learn about, fabric hauls, monthly favorites, pattern reviews, and anything else that we feel we want to share with the sewing community!
