When I got this squishy, soft sweater knit in the mail from Cali, I knew it had to be made into something special. It’s PINK which is my favorite color, drapey, and super cozy.
I really couldn’t wait to wear it so I just took my 2 yards and made this great no-sew rectangle which is about 72” x 60”.

Drat. I should probably have cut that hanging bit, but cutting takes time. We’ll call it fringe!

It’s a little restrictive I suppose but I saved so much time not sewing sleeves!

No special sewing needles or thread needed for this project. In fact, none at all. Easy peasy!
You can find a little bit of this lovely soft sweater knit here, and many many others in the sweaterknit category. Maybe they have your favorite color so you can make a special project like this one.
OK, I admit … APRIL FOOL! Tune in tomorrow to see what I really made with this gorgeous knit!
When Jen isn’t pretending a couple yards of fabric is an outfit, she’s designing patterns over at www.tiedyedivapatterns.com or sharing stuff on Instagram at www.instagram.com/tiedyediva.
I didn’t realize how many new clothes I had ‘hidden’ in my stash!
Exactly! It’s a fabric stash *and* a wardrobe, so you can justifiably spend twice as much on it!
Haha
LOL! Come back tomorrow, I promise what I really made is adorable!
OMG! too funny. I specially loved the picture with the instrument.
