Sewing is a Waste of Time

When I got this squishy, soft sweater knit in the mail from Cali, I knew it had to be made into something  special. It’s PINK which is my favorite color, drapey, and super cozy.

I really couldn’t wait to wear it so I just took my 2 yards and made this great no-sew rectangle which is about 72” x 60”.

Easy to take it sporty with tennies and no-show socks.

But also versatile, here with heels and an updo – ready for a night out!

Drat. I should probably have cut that hanging bit, but cutting takes time. We’ll call it fringe!

I also think it would be great at the beach.

And on the weekends with jeans and boots.

It’s a little restrictive I suppose but I saved so much time not sewing sleeves!

No special sewing needles or thread needed for this project. In fact, none at all. Easy peasy!

You can find a little bit of this lovely soft sweater knit here, and many many others in the sweaterknit category. Maybe they have your favorite color so you can make a special project like this one.

OK, I admit … APRIL FOOL! Tune in tomorrow to see what I really made with this gorgeous knit!
